💌 THE LOVE LETTER / #4 Summer Break

hello you,

Just a quick hello before I log off for summer vacation.

What have you been up to these last weeks—maybe even months?
How are you experiencing summer?

Mine, so far, has had all the flavours. I’m looking forward to more: slow mornings, sandy toes, and quality time with my boys and the good friends we’re lucky to meet along the way. Because really—spending time with the people we love… isn’t that the whole point?

So today, no big leadership insight—just an invitation to pause, breathe with me whenever you like, and enjoy a few random sparks of inspiration.

I’ll be back with the next edition towards the end of summer.
Until then, I'm curious to hear what you've been up to and what's keeping you inspired these days.
Drop me a line?

Thank you for being here.

Love, K

P.S. My last newsletter on humility seems to have gotten a little too humble—it bounced. If it never reached you, you can still read it here.

I have done nothing all summer but wait for myself to be myself again.

SPARKS OF INSPIRATION

🎵 A song. Los ans Meer - Oliver Koletzki Remix
💿 An album. Stumbled upon and love paradox by Mogli.
👯‍♂️ A playlist. Put this together during the longest summer. Still love it. Hope you do too.
🎙️ A podcast. This is not an easy listen and so insightful. Dr. Anna Machin on fatherhood and love.
📚 A book. I guess I’m late to the party, but I inhaled Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. Great entertainment. Before diving into the sequel in the coming weeks, I’m finishing Sally Rooney’s Intermezzo.
🌬️ A breathing practice. 9-minute breath meditation from me for you.

♥️ Thank you for reading along.

hello, you wonderful human. as I’m writing this last newsletter of the year, I am recovering from an evil cold and looking back on a wild month and a full year. Remembering this moment in November where I was still thinking: how nice to fade out the year in a slower notion than usual. Oh well, maybe next year. This month has been one of those, where all of a sudden busyness exploded simultaneously to the structures we’ve build for life & work just crumbling down. I had the awareness of...

two hands reaching for each other, blurred image

hello, you! And just like that, summer is over. Or is it? I’m still holding on to the tired promise of the last warming sun rays, memories of beach days during our Danish summer vacation, and just not quite ready for the change of seasons. And yet, there’s no denying the trees are changing colors. So, how about you? One of my biggest pain points as a one woman show is not having a team. The luxury of having team mates to problem solve together or co-create isn’t a given. This reality has...

the word humility over a blurred women's face

Spring is here—lush, vibrant, a little outrageous. Have you felt it too? There’s something about spring: for weeks, it seems like nothing is happening, and then suddenly—everything. The stillness cracks open, and life rushes in. That rhythm feels familiar to me this year. This newsletter has been growing quietly in the background while life moved quickly in the foreground. I went from searching for work to having more than enough. I taught my first retreat, marking ten years of teaching. And...
